Part 1: Preparing to function effectively in administrating medications and assisting with self-administration of medications.

•Medication Abbreviations
•Medication purposes and effects
•MARS/ Medication Errors
•Five Rights of Medication Administration
Day THREE and FOUR...
Part ll: Administrating and assisting residents with self-administration or prepared instillation,treatments,and insulin injections.
Topics areas will include:
•Identification of Diabetes medication
•Direct Administration of Appropriate medication/nasal/optic/ophthalmic/vaginal/rectal/in-halation
