It was grab some breakfast and get ready for the tour. There were a number of tours being conducted this morning. We caught the trolley to the civic center and registered for our tour to the Maclay Gardens. Our first stop on the way to the gardens was the Leon County extention service where our guide, David W. Marshall, pointed out a number of different plants they were growing experimentally. Some of the plants took a real beating from the storm the night before.
We received a list of plants with instructions on how, when, and where to plant them, then we were on our way to the Maclay Gardens.
