Our guide for the Maclay Gardens was Park Ranger Dom Coscia.
Originally, the entrance way into the gardens was a dirt road, but Mrs. Maclay purchased the bricks from a Tallahassee project to construct this beautiful walkway into the gardens.

The reflecting pool.
(Sorry it's blurred...a lot of my pictures turned out that way.)
What is so amazing about this pool is that you can't see it from the other side. It looks like grass all the way up. If I had known, I would have taken a picture to show the illusion.
