GARDEN TRACTOR PULL'N CLASSES

  CLASS 1:   Stock, Kids 6-10 years old, up to 12hp with 23/10.5/12 or smaller tires

  CLASS 2:   Stock, Kids 11-14 years old, up to 12hp with 23/10.5/12 or smaller tires

  CLASS 3:   Stock, Kids 6-14 years old, up to 14 - 20hp with 26/12/12 or smaller tires

  CLASS 3g: Gravely, Kids 6-14 years old, with 26/10.5/12 or smaller tires

  CLASS 4:   Stock, Adult, 15 years & older, up to 11hp with 23/10.5/12 or smaller tires

  CLASS 5:   Stock, Adult, 15 years & older, 12-16hp with 23/10.5/12 or smaller tires

  CLASS 6:   Stock, Adult, 15 years & older, 17-20hp with 26/12/12 or smaller tires

  CLASS 6g: Gravely, Adult, 15 years & older, with 26/12/12 or smaller tires

  CLASS 7:   Stock Big Wheels, Kids, 6-14 years, up to 20hp with 16-14" tires, none
                       larger than 8.3 x 24 or 9.5

  CLASS 8:   Stock Big Wheels, Adult, 15 years & older, up to 20hp with 16-24" tires,
                        none larger than 8.3 x 24 or 9.5

  CLASS 9:   Super Stock, Adults, 15 years & older, up to 20hp, tires - see specs below


IMPORTANT: THE AGE OF THE PULLER ON MAY 1st WILL DETERMINE THE CLASS
HE/SHE WILL PULL FOR THE ENTIRE SEASON

NOTE: There are a few tractors with factory stock 15" rims. These will be classed
on an individual basis.

F.Y.I:  A — 23/10.5/12 TIRE is 23" TALL, 10.5" WIDE and on a 12" RIM.

    A — 26/12/12 TIRE is 26" TALL, 12" WIDE and on a 12" RIM.


GARDEN TRACTOR PULL'N GENERAL RULES

ALL CLASSES

NOTICE:
  CHILDREN UNDER FOURTEEN YEARS OF AGE WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN THE
PIT, EXCEPT WHEN PULLING. IF TWO OR MORE ARE PULLING THE SAME
TRACTOR, CHILDREN WAITING MUST WAIT OUTSIDE THE PIT.

Every puller "Over the age of Fourteen" is expected to help, to the best of their
ability, with the raking, flagging, loading and unloading the stone
boat, etc. We appreciate your co-operation, without it we
can't keep the show going when we have to stop so
the work can be done by those pulling.

WHEN YOU ARE DONE PULLING, STOP AND HELP FOR A WHILE ! ! !



  1)  A FULL PULL is 8 Feet. If your first pull is under two feet, you have the option
        to try again. NOTE: This is your first pull only.

  2)  Boundary lines will be 10 feet apart. If tractor or stone boat hits the boundary
        lines, the driver and tractor will be disqualified.

  3)  NO JERKING THE STONE BOAT. You must tighted the chain before pulling.

  4)  Drivers must remain seated, IN THE SEAT !!! Not on the back edge of the seat.
        NO BOUNCING ALLOWED. Drivers must keep one hand on the steering wheel
        at all times while pulling. No leaning back further than the back edge of the seat.

  5)  (Adults) Only one person per tractor per class. Two children from immediate
        family per tractor may pull in same class.

  6)  Kids 6-14 years old must be able to safely operate the tractor to the satisfaction
        of our officials. Kids must also have an Adult Coach at ALL TIMES. Coaches
        must remain outside of boundary lines at time of pull.

  7)  Officials will "Class" and check all tractors. Their judgements Are Final.

  8)  No horseplay or alcoholic beverages allowed. No passengers on tractor.

  9)  No Cheating: CHEAT ONCE — WARNING;
                                    CHEET TWICE — MISS TWO PULLS;
                                    CHEAT THREE TIMES — KIDS OUT FOR THE SEASON;
                                                                                                   ADULTS OUT PERMANENTLY !

  10)  All tractors must have a clevis or hole in draw bar large enough to accept hook
          from stone boat. Hole must be at least 2 inch diameter.

  11)  Class winners will be allowed to move up to next class pull; They will compete
          for fun only, NOT for ribbons.

  12)  Pulling committee and officials reserve the right to add any additional rules
          and correct any problems that happen at a pull.

  13)  After pulling and taking your tractors to your vehicles --- No speeding through
          the grounds or parking lots. No driving around the grounds. Take your
          tractor directly to your truck or trailer and load up.

NO PASSENGERS ON YOUR TRACTOR ON THE GROUNDS
OR IN THE PARKING LOT.

"MUST HAVE WHEELIE BARS"

  CLASSES 1 THRU 8 — GARDEN TRACTOR SPECS

                Stock Garden Tractor up to 20hp — 1 or 2 cylinders — gasoline or electric.
                Engine cannot run over 3600 rpm's.

  1)  All tractors must have a rigid draw bar height. For Big Wheels Classes 7 & 8
        height will be 12 inches from the ground. Classes 7 & 8 Economy tractors will
        have a stock hitch that was original equipment, or one built to original specs.
        NO BOLT ON DRAW BARS behind the rear axle.

  2)  Maximum bar height in Classes 1 thru 6 will be one inch below rear axle
        center line.

  3)  Draw bars must be made of 1/2" steel - must be bolted to original hitch 4" x 4".
        Must have 1/2" of steel behind hole. Can use 3/4" washer to raise hitch to 1"
        below center of axle.

  4)  NO LOCKED REAR ENDS PERMITTED - THOSE EQUIPED CAN NOT USE THEM.
        WE WILL BE WATCHING ! ! !



  CLASSES 1 THRU 8 — WHEELIE BARS — WHEEL WEIGHTS — DECKS — TIRES

  1)  8" WHEELS — CAN BE HOMEMADE — NOT TO EXCEED 75 LBS PER WHEEL
        12" WHEELS — CAN BE HOMEMADE — NOT TO EXCEED 75 LBS PER WHEEL

        BIG WHEELS — MANUFACTURED ONLY — NOT TO EXCEED 140 LBS PER WHEEL

        ONE SET of stock garden tractor wheel weights OR tires loaded with liquid,
        NOT Both.

        Note: Weights may be weighed at any time at discretion of an official. They must
        be removable.

  2)  Under mounted mowers are allowed. No chains over 10' long to hold mower
        deck to tractor.

  3)  No Cut Tires, tire chains, dual wheels, 4x4's, crawlers, steel wheels, pit bulls,
        c-peks, or professional pulling tires.

  4)  ALL Tractors in ALL Classes "MUST" be equipped with WHEELIE BARS that are
        "Strong Enough to Support Tractor."

        Wheelie bars must be made of 2" sq tubing, 1/8th" thick, Or flat stock, 1/4" X 2 1/4"
        max, brace, 1 1/4" X 1 1/4" X 1/8th" angle. Cross brace must not interfere with
        hitch or chain.

        Wheelie bars must extend 4" behind the exterior of the tire, no more than 6"
        from the ground. They must have wheels Or flat pads.

  5)  CUB CADET Tractors - MUST have a shield to deflect any flying parts to the
        ground in event of a mishap. Shields must be made of 16 gauge steel Or 1/8"
        aluminum and surround the clutch housing on top and both sides.

  6)  STOCK SEATS ONLY — No car, truck, bucket seats, or anything else.

  7)  Fragrant violators of ANY rules will not pull — Per decision of official.



  CLASS 9 — SUPER STOCK TRACTOR RULES & SPECS

  1)  Garden Tractors, up to 20hp, 1 or 2 cylinder, 4 cycle, gasoline engines.

  2)  Frame cannot be lengthened more than 4" inches. Hood cannot be raised
        more than 3". All tractors Must have WHEELIE BARS that are "Strong Enough
        to Support Tractor," must extend 4" behind the exterior of the tire
        and will be no more than 6" from the ground. See Stock Garden
        Tractor Rules for requirements.

  3)  All tractors must have a rigid draw bar. Max height is 14". Bars must not
        extend rearward more than 15" from the center of the axle; rear-
        engine tractors excepted, with rigid bars being as close as
        possible to the engine.

  4)  Tractors can run two pairs of wheel weights up to 300 lbs of extra weight.
        All weights must be secured to tractor. No weights allowed on tractor
        seats Or driver. Nothing can protrude more than 20" in front of
        the tractor frame. Losing weights while pulling will result in
        disqualification.

  5) Maximum engine rpm must not exceed 4000 rpm's and may be checked at
        any time. All tractors must have sufficient shielding of belts, chains,
        clutches, Etc, to deflect any flying parts to the ground.

  6)  Any type of tire may be used. Tires can be modified. Maximum size will be
        31/15.50/15. No dual wheels, tire chains or studs.

  7)  A tractor that pulls in Super Stock cannot pull in any other class. Tractor may
        not weigh more than 1700 lbs, with 31/15.5/15 tires, Or 1800 lbs, with
        26/12.5/12 tires. Weight may be added to achieve these weights.

  8)  NOTICE: Super Stock Tractors will be weighed. There will be a one-time fee
                           for the scale, to be paid by the puller. Tractors may be rechecked
                          at any later pull at no fee, and at the discretion of the official.
