APRIL 2012

GLEN LYON

April 11 - Police arrested a Glen Lyon man on a bench warrant after a traffic stop for a vehicle code violation on Main Street.

April 12 - Police assisted Wilkes-Barre City police in taking a Glen Lyon female into custody on a PFA violation.

April 14 - Police arrested a Glen Lyon man for possession of drug paraphernalia after he was observed acting suspicious on East Main Street.

April 25 - Police arrested a Glen Lyon man for simple assault after he punched another Glen Lyon man after a verbal argument.

WANAMIE

April 14 - Police arrested a Glen Lyon man for DUI after he was observed driving erratically and nearly colliding with a patrol vehicle.

SHEATOWN

April 01 - Police arrested a Glen Lyon man for driving under the influence of alcohol after he was observed driving in the oncoming lane of traffic.

April 01 - An Alden juvenile was cited for operating his ATV on Robert Street after police observed him doing so.

April 20 - Police arrested a Hanover Township man for domestic violence after a physical altercation with his ex-girlfriend.

ALDEN

No major incidents reported.

RIDGE VIEW/LEE

April 27 - Police arrested a Wapwallopen man for DUI after he was observed operating a vehicle with an expired registration and a trailer with no registration plate.

MARCH 2012

GLEN LYON

March 03 - Police arrested a Glen Lyon man for possession of marijuana after a traffic stop on Main Street in Glen Lyon.

March 03 - Police arrested a woman on a local warrant for possession of methamphetamine (Meth).

March 11 - Police arrested a Plymouth man for shooting another man on the head with a B.B. gun causing injury.

March 12 - Police cited a Glen Lyon woman after her dog was running loose and bit a child on Arch Street. She received two citations for the violations.

March 13 - Police are investigating a sexual abuse case that occurred in Glen Lyon involving a juvenile female.

WANAMIE

March 16 - Police cited a Wanamie juvenile for underage drinking at the Wanamie Rec Park after police broke up an underage drinking party. All other juveniles fled the area. Police were able to locate the person who purchased the alcohol for the juveniles and is also facing charges.

March 16 - Police cited a Wanamie man after household garbage was found dumped near North Coal Street in Wanamie. The man was ordered to clean the garbage up.

SHEATOWN

March 03 - Police arrested a Mountain Top woman for public drunkenness after she was found laying in the middle of Robert Street highly intoxicated.

ALDEN

No major incidents reported.

RIDGE VIEW/LEE

March 04 - Police arrested a Nanticoke man who was wanted by several area departments including the Sheriff's Department when he was found trespassing on land off the IP road in Ridgeview. The male also gave officers a false name and will be facing charges from Newport Township.
