GLEN LYON

February 11 - Police arrested two Glen Lyon brothers for assaulting each other after an argument ensued.

February ? - Police arrested an Easton man who recently moved to Glen Lyon without notifying the State Police Megan Law Unit. The man is a registered sex offender.

WANAMIE

SHEATOWN

No major incidents.

ALDEN

February 01 - Police arrested an Alden man after he assaulted his mother in law when she arrived at his house.

February 04 - Police arrested a Wapwallopen man for DUI after he almost hit another vehicle head-on while exiting a parking lot.

RIDGE VIEW/LEE

No major incidents.

JANUARY 2012

GLEN LYON

January 02 - Police arrested a wanted male at Rock Street housing apartments that was wanted by Adult Probation.

January 22 - Police arrested a boyfriend at Rock Street apartments after a physical fight.

WANAMIE

No major incidents reported.

SHEATOWN

January 03 - Police arrested a Glen Lyon man for theft after he stole a cell phone at Guardian Care Center after he went to apply for a job.

January 03 - Police arrested a Newport center man after he burglarized his aunt's home and stole jewelry to support his drug addiction.

January 15 - Police arrested a Nanticoke man for DUI after he committed a traffic violation.

January 22 - Police are investigating a theft that occurred at Dorrance Auto. A hydraulic pump was stolen off of a plow truck overnight. Police have a suspect and charges are pending an interview.

ALDEN

No major incidents reported.

RIDGE VIEW/LEE

January 26 - Police arrested a Nanticoke man for multiple burglaries in the Ridge View section of Newport Township. All stolen items were recovered by police and the man is incarcerated at LCCF on $100,000 bail. Newport police were arrested by Nanticoke City police. Nanticoke police also charged the man for an attempted burglary in their city.
