September 05, 2014 - A Rock Street man was taken into custody for domestic violence after striking his wife during an argument.
September 11, 2014 - A West Enterprise Street man was taken into custody after forcing his way into a neighbor's house and attempting to fight with him.
September 15, 2014 - A Coal Street man was taken into custody following a domestic disturbance at his residence. During the disturbance he had pulled out a handgun and threatened his brother.
September 25, 2014 - A New York man was taken into custody on a Warrant out of the Luzerne County Sheriff's Department during a traffic stop.

September 01, 2014 - A Glen Lyon man was taken into custody for DUI after crashing his vehicle on the West Kirmar Parkway.
September 01, 2014 - A Nanticoke man was taken into custody for DUI during a traffic stop on the West Kirmar Parkway.
September 10, 2014 - A Nanticoke man was taken into custody at Magistrate Whittaker's due to having warrants out for his arrest.
September 14, 2014 - Police received a report of an intoxicated male in the Variety Stop parking lot, while en-route the vehicle had left. A traffic stop was initiated on the West Kirmar Parkway and the driver was taken into custody for DUI.
September 26, 2014 - Charges were filed on a Wanamie man for stealing his father's truck. Two hours later the man returned the truck and took off into the woods.
September 28, 2014 - A Ridgeview man was taken into custody for DUI after he crashed his vehicle on West Kirmar Parkway.
September 30, 2014 - A Wanamie man was taken into custody on a warrant out of our Department for Theft of a Motor Vehicle. Additional charges will be filed for possession of drug paraphernalia for a needle that he had hidden in his shoe when he was arrested.
September 30, 2014 - A Nanticoke man was taken into custody after a dispute at a West Main Avenue apartment. The man was wanted out of New York.
September 30, 2014 - Charges were filed on a Nanticoke man for using his brother's name and date of birth during a dispute at a West Main Avenue apartment.

August 02, 2014 - Officers were called to the Rock Street Apartments for the report of a PFA violation. Charges were filed on a Chestnut Street man for harassing the mother of his child.
August 12, 2014 - A Plymouth man crashed his motorcycle in Lee with a passenger on it. He then proceeded to get back on the bike and leave. He was pulled over in Wanamie where it was determined he had a broken foot and ankle. The man was transported to the hospital via ambulance. DUI charges are pending.
August 13, 2014 - A Glen Lyon man was charged with multiple felonies after a violent domestic at his residence. The man had assaulted his girlfriend. Upon arrival of the officers the man had become very agitated and ran at three officers with a large knife. After struggling with the man the officers were able to take him into custody.
August 13, 2014 - A Nanticoke man was taken into custody on a warrant out of Nanticoke City.
August 18, 2014 - A Glen Lyon man was taken into custody due to having a warrant out of our department.
August 21, 2014 - A Glen Lyon man was taken into custody for a P.F.A. violation.
August 22, 2014 - A Glen Lyon man was taken into custody for a P.F.A. violation.
August 23, 2014 - A Nanticoke man was taken into custody for Criminal Trespass after entering an enclosed front porch where he did not belong.
August 23, 2014 - A Dallas man was taken into custody following a traffic stop for Drug Possession (Synthetic Marijuana and Heroin) after a search of his vehicle and person. Nanticoke City Police K-9 assisted in the search of the vehicle.

August 07, 2014 - A Glen Lyon man was taken into custody on a warrant out of the Luzerne County Sheriff's Department.
SHEATOWN
August 04, 2014 - 5 males were taken into custody on charges of Drug Possession and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. During a routine check of the Newport Center Cemetery, a vehicle was found with the five of them in the process of ingesting the drugs.
August 06, 2014 -A Sheatown man who was wanted was seen at the Penn Mart by an off-duty Nanticoke Police officer. When he noticed the officer the man ran towards Fair Lane and hid behind a house. The man was found behind the residence and taken into custody. He also had drug paraphernalia on him at the time of the arrest.
August 18 - A Sheatown man was taken into custody following a violent confrontation with his roommate. During the confrontation the man had hit the roommate with a baseball bat in the ribs and the left forearm.
August 22, 2014 - A Sheatown man was taken into custody after breaking into his grandmother's car, stealing a check, forging her signature and attempting to cash the check to purchase heroin.

August 20, 2014 - A Hanover Township man was taken into custody during a traffic stop for Drug Possession and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
August 20, 2014 - Charges were filed on a Scranton man for attempting to purchase a firearm while being prohibited from doing so.

August 23, 2014 - A Mountain Top woman was taken into custody for DUI after she crashed her car on Alden Mountain Road.

July 15, 2014 - A Chestnut Street man was taken into custody on open warrants out of North Carolina with full extradition.
July 17, 2014 - Charges were filed on a Rock Street woman for domestic violence after assaulting her girlfriend.
July 24, 2014 - A West Main Street man was taken into custody after forcing his way into an Apple Street residence and assaulting the tenant.
WANAMIE
July 24, 2014 - Charges will be filed on 2 juveniles for fleeing and eluding and 1 juvenile will be charged with fleeing and eluding, recklessly endangering a minor and multiple motor vehicle infractions, after they fled from police on Old Newport Street with ATV. The one juvenile had a second juvenile on the ATV with her. The officer pursued the ATV and obtained the DCNR registration off of the plate and then ended the pursuit due to the recklessness of thier driving.
July 27, 2014 - Charges were filed on an Apple Street Glen Lyon resident after he assaulted his girlfriend while she was driving. The victim stated that she was driving on the West Kirmar Parkway and he started to choke her. He let go when she slammed on the brakes; she was able to jump out of the vehicle and run to the Police Station.

July 24, 2014 - A pizza delivery person was bitten by a dog while delivering pizza to a Prince Street address.
ALDEN
July 05, 2014 - An Alden man was charged with receiving stolen property after returning home from a concert at Montage Mountain with a stolen purse and cell phone in his vehicle. The victim was able to trace the cell phone to that address. Upon arrival the officer observed the purse in the vehicle.
July 19, 2014 - Police responded to a fatal motorcycle accident on Alden Mountain Road. A Nuangola man had lost control of his motorcycle and hit a guard rail.
