DECEMBER 2012

GLEN LYON

December 10 - A passerby found a 4 year old girl walking around on East Main Street in Glen Lyon. After searching houses in the area for 2 hours we were able to identify the babysitter. Both individuals who were found sleeping in their home were charged with endangering the welfare of a minor. The child was released into the custody of her legal guardian.

December 10 - Police were called to 1 Rock Street for the report of a domestic. Upon arrival neither party had visible injuries. Both parties agreed to separate for the remainder of the day.

December 11 - Police were called to an East Main Street residence for the report of a domestic. Upon arrival both parties were separated. No injuries were seen on either individual; they were separated for the evening.

December 27 - An East Main Street resident reported that a family member stole $1500 out of her purse. While speaking with the resident police obtained the name of the individual. That individual returned the money to the family member. No charges filed.

WANAMIE

No incidents.

SHEATOWN

December 20 -A Robert Street resident called to report that a basement window on one of his rental properties was broken and someone gained entry. While inside the residence they removed a lot of copper tubing. Ongoing investigation.

ALDEN

December 08 - Police were called to an Alden Mountain Road residence for the report of a burglary. The back door was forced open but no items were missing. Ongoing investigation.

December 14 - Police were called to a Kirmar Terrace residence for the report of a disorderly male. Upon arrival the male was gone.

RIDGEVIEW/LEE

December 05 - Police were called to Newport Aggregate for the report of a missing registration plate off a dump truck. The plate was entered into NCIC.

NOVEMBER 2012


GLEN LYON

November 03 - A stolen vehicle was found on Orchard Street.

November 12 - A Ridge Street man was taken into custody and 302'd after a domestic incident.

November 21 - A search warrant was served on a Glen Lyon man. A coin collection that was stolen out of a house on Orchard Street in Glen Lyon back in October was found in the residence. That person was arrested and charged with a felony count of receiving stolen property.

November 23 - A search warrant was served on a Ridge Street home in Nanticoke in regards to the Orchard Street burglary.

WANAMIE

November 02 - A Glen Lyon man stated his vehicle was stolen out of the lower Wanamie area within a one week period. Ongoing investigation.

November 18 - There is an ongoing investigation into a report of a male exposing himself to a juvenile female on East Main Avenue.

November 27 - A Nanticoke man was taken into custody during a traffic stop for possession of drugs and paraphernalia.

No incidents.

RIDGEVIEW/LEE

OCTOBER 2012

GLEN LYON

October 01 - A Nanticoke man was assaulted in a wooded area by Wood Street. The victime failed to cooperate with officers.

October 09 - Police were dispatched to a residence on Orchard Street to investigate the report of a burglary. Upon arrival officers determined that an unknown person or persons gained entry into the victim's home and stole a large coin collection. An investigation into this matter is ongoing.

October 19 - Police were dispatched to a residence on Rock Street to investigate the report of a theft. Upon arrival officers determined that the victime had attempted to purchase an electronic item from a Craig's list ad. The victim then stated that the person took his money and drove away with the electronic device. An investigation into this matter is ongoing.

October 21 - Police arrested a Glen Lyon man for an assault during a domestic dispute. The offender had hit and choked his live-in cousin.

October 26 - Two Glen Lyon men were cited with harassment after a family dispute on Ridge Street.

October 29 - There is an ongoing investigation into a West Main Street man being shot in the leg in front of his residence.

WANAMIE

October 02 - Police were dispatched to a residence on East Main Avenue for the report of a child burn victim and the investigation is ongoing.

SHEATOWN

October 15 - Police were dispatched to Northern Avenue for the report of batteries being removed from construction equipment. No leads at this time.

ALDEN

October 16 - Police were dispatched to a residence on East Kirmar for a family dispute involving two juvenile males.

RIDGEVIEW/LEE

No major incidents.
