As the sun rises, a new day comes, and he slowly opens his eyes
The work ahead will be long and hard, but he prayerfully knows on whom he relies.
As he looks at a face showing signs of age, and hair a dust of white
But he knows God's gonna take care of him, things are gonna be all right.
His wife-long gone, His kids are grown and His friends seem so few and far.
And at times, This Man
With His heart in his hand
He cries like never before.
But the tears are not signs of weakness for He cries in many ways.
For those He loves that are in pain
For those He misses and longs to see again
For those who's Souls are lost in sin
He cries out to God for each of them.
Yes..He's a man...A Man with a Heart
Not afraid of It being torn apart
Because He knows through all these tears
That even "Jesus Wept" in His Earthly Years.
So with His prayers lifted up to Heaven above
He sets out for His Work Day, filled with Love.
And He knows without a doubt in His mind
He is a Man of God and that's just fine!
