Oh Yes! I believe in Jesus!
I try to shine my light.
But, sometimes when stuff piles up
I find myself---"off-white"!
And when I try to switch me on
And show my trust in Him
I find I have let my juice run down
My light is very d i m.....
I fall upon my knees
With a look both sad and eager!
I cry out--but, yet I whisper
I've become rather meager.
But though my light be dim
The more I call His Name
He sends a bolt of Heaven
And energizes my flame!
We must keep the torch held high
Shining for All to see!
Avoid the winds of satan
He'll do You like he did Me!
Because He knows a candle in a Hurricane
Can't make it very long.
But when we trust in Jesus
The •••D I M••• becomes the STRONG!!
