••••CHURCH ATTENDANCE--WHERE ARE YOU???••••

????---WHEN WE DON'T ATTEND CHURCH, WHAT ARE THE MOST COMMON EXCUSES WE USE, WHICH MAY NOT BE ALTOGETHER TRUE?••••

•••HERE ARE YOUR INNER THOUGHTS•••

...from Daniel...

Let me see...If you have to make up an excuse about why you are not going to go to church, better be a good one!!!
Ahhh...Like maybe, Someone opened my car, which I left the keys in, and drove it through my bedroom, thus pinning me in bed for over an hour after church had started. There is no way I could go......or....I had a zit right on the tip of my nose and I keep squeezing and looking at it so long it became a volcano and I became cross-eyed and thus I could drive to church without having a wreck. Truthfully, church is one place there are few real excuses except for one.....I DIDN'T WANT TO GO!!!! That is the truth and I am sticking with it...

...from Nancy...

Sometime I might miss if my preacher is out of town and the guest speaker is someone I don't particularlly like. I know it is not an excuse but When I go to church I like to know ahead of time what I am facing...You know, that doesn't sound right either....anyway....I guess my excuse is a flimsy one...

...from Dianne...

When I have relatives that have come a long way to see me and they don't have very long to visit, I would consider that a good reason. Not an excuse but a reason...Don't ya' think?...

...from Jim...

One time I woke up and had to be rushed to the hospital and they said I had had a mild stroke. I felt God knew I wanted to be in church. So I flipped on the tv and watched it from my hospital bed. I really do not think there is an excuse for skipping church...

...from Kendra...

About the only time I have to miss church is when one or more of my children are sick. My husband works on Sundays and sickness is the only valid excuse I can see for not being in the house of the Lord...

...from Alice...

I am not sure who can come up with more excuses the Christian or the Non-Christian. Anyway, My own opinion on this topic is we should all try our very best to find an excuse why NOT to miss going instead of laying in our beds and thinking the lamest of all things to keep laying there instead of giving back a little to Jesus on his day!...

...from Patrick...

If you don't really want to go to church, whether you go or not doesn't matter. There has to be the desire to go there in the first place. Then you will get the blessings you need. There will be people in God's house when Jesus Comes again that will wonder what happened and why they were left behind.
Be careful how you excuse yourself from doing right....God is not dumb!!!...

...from Olivia...

I miss church only one those night befores when everything goes wrong. I have to be in a really good mood to wake up on Sunday and look at the clock and say..."WOW...It's Sunday I think I will get all dressed up and go to church and sing and pray and give my money and greet people...whew...that is alot of work.
I think I will just roll over and say a nice little prayer, I sure God won't mind...

...from Keith...

I am a politician and I go more when people need to see the good side of me. When people see you in a suit and going up the stairs and speaking, smiling, etc....that helps...It helps you once you get in there and it makes others feel like you took the effort to go...

...from Jennifer...

It is one of those things you keep putting off, I have been warned by at least a dozen or more preachers that one of these days its gonna be too late and I am going to miss Jesus coming back and go to HELL!!! Yipes....Would God really do that to someone just because they put off going to church?...
