Some men seek a visible God

With a hunger they cannot pacify.

They refuse to believe what they cannot see,

And thus His presence they deny.

Listen closely, you will hear His voice In the rapturous chirping of a bird.

You will feel Him lightly touch your face

When by His hand the wind is stirred.

Sometimes His whisper can be heard

In the storm wind as it rushes by.

The silent twinkling of a star

Could be the blinking of His eye.

You may walk beside Him in the fields,

In the rustling grass His footsteps trod.

With the radiant sunset's dying hue,

You have seen the mighty hand of God.

If you refuse to believe what you cannot see,

Can you really believe in a thing called love?

Of course, you feel it in your heart!

Sent from that invisible God above.
