###•••TOPIC #2---Honoring Your Parents!---

Most of us have children and most are grown or almost  grown.
I was reading the Bible the other day and that scripture, in fact, it is a commandment....Honor your Father and Mother and you will live a long life in the land.

 It is the only commandment that has a promise attached to it.

It must have meant a lot to the Lord then and I'm sure it still does.

I believe that children can fear their parents when they are young but as they grow older that fear disappears.

The thing that keeps most teenagers and even young adults from messing up their lives is respect for themselves and their parents.

 So, I believe in teaching respect not fear.

I look at Kenny and how good he is to his mom and when my mom and dad were with my family how we all respected them...
 I believe that we will see the fruit from that.
If we aren't currently.
 Caring for a sick parent is hard, but the Lord will bless us and give us what we need to get through it.

 Some day, if the Lord should tary our children will be there for us...hopefully, in our time of need.

How do you all feel about this promise from God.
