Holley and I use to talk about this a lot.
We didnt like that part of the bible, but as I grew as a Christian, the Lord showed me that to obey your husband doesnt mean we are his slaves.
Your husbands should be head of house as Christ is head of him.
The husband needs to watch over wife with love.
When the husband is looking to Jesus everything will fall in place.
Not in a way the wife will resent it.
A pastor once told me that Jesus is the glue that holds a marriage together.
Each must have a relationship with the Lord.
To become as one.
I am thankful the Lord showed me how it really should be between a husband and wife.
By the way God made us to be help mates and partners.
