My heart burns with a flood of emotions
That carry me away like a thousand oceans
Helplessly I am tossed about
Soaring in belief, yet sinking in doubt

Do I dare call this love?

Free as the wind on a cool summer's eve
Falling as quickly as the autumn leaves
Hanging on, to only find
You have invaded my heart and my mind

Do I dare call this love?

Sweet poison your words become to my soul
Filling this heart and its hole
Filled to the brim, I overflow
But still afraid am I to let it show

Do I dare call this love?

Wrapped up in your loving embrace
Seeing the sweet smile on your face
Knowing our hearts are forever bound
By a lasting, common ground

Yes I call this love.
