Hello friends, Virgil sitting here keeping an eye on Kenny as he has drifted off to sleep after working on another webpage for several hours.

Let's get back to our story of Kenny's life.
Kenny had begun to grow in every direction. He was no longer the little skinny boy of years back.
But along with his body growth, came growth of love for writing and seeing the expressions on people's faces as he would read to them.
Especially the kids on the playground at school. He was a clown.

One particular day Kenny had the attention of several of the young ladies in his class and this one fellow (who I later talked to His guardian angel about watching Him closer) got jealous and came up to Kenny reached down to the ground, where in the grass there was a pencil and other bits of trash, and grabbed...It was time for Virgil to do my thing, so I kicked the sharpened pencil out of the way and in its place lay a small dried up piece of tree limb.

The young boy yelled, "Hey Kenny, shut your mouth," and then used the stick like a knife and poked it in Kenny's stomach.
I immediately went over and lay my hand on the area that had been injured as Kenny yelled out in pain.

What could have been a major hole, had the boy used the pencil turned out to be just a tiny scratch, and He and the young man later became friends.

Kenny was just that way...Always easy going...

As I said earlier, Kenny was growing, with a growing appetite.

One of his first jobs at school was going to the lunchroom each day to get the morning milk that the students each recieved after their mid-morning recess.
They had their choice of Chocolate or regular milk, Kenny loved them both.
To Kenny's amazement, some of the kids didn't like milk at all, and somedays He would gladly get two or three cartons back that He would drink himself.

So, Kenny was most likely the inspriration behind the successful ad campaign, "GOT MILK!"

At the beginning of the fourth grade, Kenny was realizing he could make people laugh, fairly easy with silly poems and stupid jokes.....
It was all innocent and this was merely the beginning of what would shape much of His adult life.

In my Memory scrapbook I have kept several things that Kenny wrote back in those elementary years.
Here is one where He did his own version of the MIDNIGHT RIDE OF PAUL REVERE...

(This is from the fourth grade)

LISTEN MY CHILDREN AND YOU SHALL INHALE
THE DAYLIGHT RIDE OF KENNY MITCHELLE
HE WAS STRONG AND BRAVE, BUT VERY MISBEHAVED
HE RODE THROUGH A WALL AND DOWN THE HALLS
HE RODE THROUGH A STORE AND RIGHT THROUGH THE MAYOR'S DOOR
HE ALWAYS LEFT THE MARK OF AN "N"
WHICH STOOD FOR "NUTTY" AND THAT WAS HIM"

•••••Importance of Fourth Grade•••••

My job watching over Kenny had been a piece of cake, I think your humans say, up until now.
The devil had begun to ease his way around Kenny's life, just to put bad ideas in his head which ranged from trying his hand at cheating on schoolwork to bringing little toys to school in his pocket to play with while class was going in...which, by the way, got him 4 licks with the paddle (the only paddling he ever recieved in school) when the teacher caught Him playing with magnets instead of reading his assigned work in class.

This really got Kenny's attention and I knew this was a very good learning experience for Him.
He ran home right after school and broke out in tears telling his mom how he had been paddled by the teacher...

(Just between you and me, the tears were sort of fake, He was just afraid he was going to get in more trouble from His Mom for getting in to trouble at school.)

As you may have figured out, Kenny was a dreamer, He like to think about other things instead of school work....One day, when he had failed to get his homework correctly the night before, and he had missed almost every problem on the page, the teacher asked each student how many they had missed---when she came to Kenny....He LIED.....

This really upset me....He had an ink pen in His hand and I let it bust open on him and it spilled red ink all over him and his paper, finally He raised his hand and whispered to the teacher that he had told her the wrong score and was very sorry.

She didn't spank him that day, she knew, by looking in his eyes and the red ink all over his hand that he had been taught his lesson that day.

Being Kenny's Guardian angel sometimes I had to do things like the INK PEN SPLASH to get His attention myself....But I did it out of love....and it paid off because He never forgot that day and how it made Him feel to LIE and to get caught......and He also knew the peaceful feeling of admitting He had done wrong......and that stayed with Him from that day forward......This is Virgil, You On-line Guardian Angel saying...Thanks for being here and we invite you to visit all of the Angelic pages, as we have quite a few already and many more to go....
