When the world and it's glitter

Spark attention Our Way

And Our Spirituality Considers

For a while, to go play

When we tuck our salvation

So deep within Our souls

And we turn our concentration

To more entertaining goals


We can hide for a while

we can run the wrong way

We laugh and be merry

But just how long can we stay.


Will the seeker of Our Souls

Be in search throughout the night

Will the enemy have us cornered

Can be breakaway-Will we fight?


While we're dabbling-playing games

Will the Lord not find Us at Home



Can we afford that walk of shame

Trading Jesus for the chance to roam?


I have decided to hide no more

Seeking all Christ has for me,

A Heavenly Home Someday

That will last for eternity.....
