Broken child look up to me.
See the tears I shed for you
in your time of ruin.
When we were seperated,
when you perspirated..
in frustration and pain.
My beautiful creation, reach for my cloak.
I long to give you all your heart desires.
Come sit with me, let us love one another.
I am a father, like no other...
I am God and I love you.
You are beautiful, precious and lovely.
All I ask is that you'd come and love me,
and live humbly.
I see that you are broken and tired.
barely breathing this dark night.
Let me hold you,
come to my arms and I'll hold you right.
Let me love you-child.
let me love you.
Come to meet with me,
come sit at my throne...
You're still my child,
even though you have grown.
And like a father
who sees his grown children,
and longs to hold them once again,
I long to hold my children,
not watch them running down dead ends.
Let me love you little one...
Insecure and afraid..
Always remember
words spoken from
a fathers heart,
you are fearfully and wonderfully made.
