  Here's a question for you.

  What can you ride on that is traveling at a speed of 16,000 miles per hour and you don't even have to hang on ?

  You got it !!  It's good old space ship earth.

  Our planet travels through the skies at this incredible rate of speed and gravity holds everything in place.


    Wherever this traveling planet goes, all 6 billion of us humans go together.  We are bound for the same destination.  It is our common bond.

    Recent discoveries have traced the DNA of the mitochondria living in our bodies and have demonstrated with 99% assurance that we all (yes all 6 billion) came from one woman or at least a pair of sisters.



So, by golly, we are not only headed for the same destination but we are all related to each other.

  So, what's the point ?

   It is simply to identify the common soul we share with all people on the planet, at least half of whom live under horrible conditions.

  Would be nice if we spoke up for them once in a while.
  I'm not suggesting becoming an activist, just asking us to open our hearts to the downtrodden.

  Having a sincere compassion for our fellow humans makes it easier to love ourselves.



    Loving ourselves is absolutely essential to both  becoming happy and to staying happy.
