Rain starts in heaven as pure crystal love

Cried from the eyes

of saints, angels and God

To try to wash away

some of the bad things of this world

Though the devil tries to stop it

with clouds in the sky

To delay the rain

and let his wickedness run wild

The raindrops come through

in every shape, form and size

This makes him very angry

so he stomps and shouts

So lightning and thunder comes

when he starts to pout

And the wind starts to howl

when he sucks his thumb and sighs

But the rain makes it through

to fall here on man

It consoles and it comforts

all the hearts in pain

Creates joy and beauty

with flowers we see everyday

It never lasts forever

though God makes sure of this

So he dries all their tears

and they sing songs of bliss

They cried so long once

it rained for forty days

But Noah and the others stayed in the ark

till the bad washed away

When the rain is all done

it goes to rivers and streams

And flows to the ocean

so it can be free

To be called up again

in the service of God

And go to some place else

to inspire whole mobs

So when it starts to storm

you must know what to do

When the howl of the wind,

thunder and lightning scare you

Look up at heaven laugh loud and say,

"I guess that old devil isn't having a good day."
