  I gave my life to Jesus,

When I was but a child

And I am so very thankful,

For He's with me all the while

For when I am sick in body,

He never leaves my side

And when life get's dark and dreary,

He becomes my lighted guide

Now when I get real lonely,

And need someone to lean upon

I call out to my Jesus,

And feel His touch so strong.
