- 1/2 Cup white sugar
- 1/4 Cup plus 2 Tbps. brown sugar
- 3/4 Cup oatmeal
- 1 Cup M & M
- 1/4 Cup plus 2 Tbps. brown sugar
- 1 & 1/2 Cup flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. table salt
Layer ingredients in a quart jar in order given.

Empty cookie mix into large mixing bowl, stir to
combine. Add 3/4 cup softened butter or margarine,
1 - slightly beaten egg, and 1 tsp. vanilla.
Mix until completely well blended. Drop by rounded
teaspoons onto a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake
at 350* for 10-12 min.----------------------------------------------
