Posture is very important while we're working out. It doesn't matter whether we are in the water or on land.![]() Always remember to... 1) Be at a comfortable water level. The water should be around your chest. 2) Land on your whole foot. No tosies. 3) Keep all your joints relaxed and flexible. 4) Keep stationary knee bent.. 5) Keep working knee bent.. 6) Keep elbows bent.. 7) Keep back straight from your hips to your head.. 8) Keep hips pulled forward to engage abdominal muscles.. 9) Keep your head facing forward.. 10) Keep your shoulders down.. 11) Keep your chin down to take the curve out of your neck.. Look at the pictures below. They all show proper alignment while working out. Flexible joints, a straight back, and landing on your whole foot will go a long way to help prevent injuries while working out. |
