WALDEN, COLORADO

Hi Everyone. Today's trip is to Colorado. We are going to Walden,
Colorado. It is the considered the "Moose Viewing Capital of
Colorado", so we are going to look for moose and other wildlife. We
will also see many mountains, lakes and rivers around the area.

Walden is a small town. As of 2012, there were 585 people that lived
there. It is at an elevation of 8,099 feet above sea level and the
area of the city is .3 square miles.

January is usually the coldest month with average temperatures of 4 to 29
degrees Fahrenheit. July is usually the warmest month with the
average temperatures of 40 to 78 degrees F. They have an average of
58 inches of snow a year, with November having the most. According to
the Western Regional Climate Center, they have snowfall listed for
every month except July and August. Since this is October, the average
temperatures now are between 22 and 56 degrees F., with an average of
4 inches of snow for the month.
