POINT REYES STATION, CALIFORNIA, USA

3/30/14

Hi Everyone. Our trip today is to Point Reyes Station, California. This
looks like a beautiful area along the ocean with many things to see.

Point Reyes is a prominent cape and popular Northern California tourist
destination on the Pacific coast of northern California. It is located
in Marin County. The term is often applied to the Point Reyes
Peninsula, the region bounded by Tomales Bay on the northeast and
Bolinas Lagoon on the southeast. The headland is protected as part of
Point Reyes National Seashore.

Point Reyes is one of the foggiest and windiest places in the United
States. The temperature does not get very warm there. January is
normally the coldest month with average temperatures between 45 and 54
degrees Fahrenheit. September is normally the warmest month with
average temperatures between 52 and 61 degrees F. January tends to be
the rainiest month with an average of 3.4 inches and a yearly average
of 17.1 inches of rain. No snow recorded. The lowest temperature
ever recorded was 31 degrees F. The highest temperature ever recorded
was 90 degrees F.

I hope you enjoy this trip.
