TACO PIE




INGREDIENTS:


1 lb. lean ground beef

1 medium onion, chopped

1 env. (1.25 oz.) taco seasoning mix

1 can (4.5 oz.) chopped green chilis, drained

1 cup milk

2 eggs

1/2 cup Original Bisquick® mix

3/4 cup shredded Monterey Jack or cheddar cheese

salsa (any variety)

sour cream, if desired




DIRECTIONS:


Heat oven to 400ºF.

Grease 9" pie plate.

Cook ground beef and onion in 10" skillet over medium heat,
stir occasionally, until beef is browned; drain.

Stir in dry seasoning mix.

Spoon meat into pie plate; top with chilis.

Stir milk, eggs and Bisquick mix until blended.

Pour over meat in pie plate.

Bake 25 minutes, or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

Sprinkle with cheese.

Bake 8 - 10 minutes longer.

Cool 5 minutes.

Serve with salsa and sour cream.

Makes 4 servings.
