INGREDIENTS:
1 can (15 oz.) purèed pumpkin
1 can (12 oz.) evaporated milk
3 eggs
1-1/2 cups sugar
4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 box yellow cake mix
1 stick butter or margarine, melted
1 cup chopped pecans
optional: whipped cream
DIRECTIONS:
Heat oven to 350ºF (175ºC).
Combine pumpkin, milk, eggs, sugar and spice.
Pour into greased 9x13" pan.
Sprinkle cake mix on top of mixture.
Pour melted butter over cake mix.
Sprinkle pecans on top.
Bake 45 - 50 minutes.
Serve with whipped cream, if desired.
Makes 12 - 15 servings.
