JALAPENO PUFF POPPERS

INGREDIENTS:


1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

1/2 cup diced jalapeno peppers

3 green onions, diced

1 pkg, (16 oz,) wonton wrappers

1 qt. vegetable oil for frying


DIRECTIONS:


In a medium bowl, mix the cream cheese, Monterey Jack cheese,
jalapeno peppers, and green onions.

Fill wonton wrappers with about 1 tsp. cream cheese mixture each.

Fold wrappers into triangles and press edges with a moistened fork to seal.

In a large, deep skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.

Drop 4 wontons at a time into oil, quickly fry, turning once.

Remove when golden brown and drain on paper towels.
