CARAMEL POPCORN

INGREDIENTS:


3 bags Natural Microwave Pop Corn

2 Cups Brown Sugar

2 Sticks Butter

1/2 Cup White Corn Syrup

1/4 tsp Cream of Tarter

1 tsp Baking Soda

1 Cup of Peanuts (Optional)




DIRECTIONS:


Preheat oven to 250 degrees.

Pop all three bags of pop corn according to package directions.

Shake the bag gently so most of the unpopped kernels will fall to the bottom.
Transfer the popped corn by handfuls into a roasting pan.

In a sauce pan mix Sugar, Butter, Corn Syrup and Cream of Tarter together over a medium heat

Add baking soda last and stir.

Pour over the popped corn slowly stirring as you add.

Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.

Remove from oven and stir constantly until cool.
