INGREDIENTS:
1 pkg. (16 oz.) frozen pierogies (any flavor)
1/2 cup cream cheese
1/2 cup chicken broth or milk
1/2 cup cheddar cheese
2-3 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
2 green onions, chopped for garnish
DIRECTIONS:
Heat oven to 400ºF
Spray a 9x13" baking dish with vegetable spray.
Combine cream cheese and broth (or milk) in small saucepan over medium heat,
stir with a whisk until very smooth.
Arrange pierogis in a single layer in baking dish.
Pour cream cheese mixture over them.
Sprinkle top with cheese, then bacon.
Bake about 25 minutes, until cheese is melted, and pierogies are warmed through.
Sprinkle onions over top to garnish before serving.
Makes 6 servings.
