I thought maybe we could do this at IM, so I tested it and was happy to see it worked out well. This tute supposes that you have some knowledge of how IM works. PLEASE read the entire page before going to IM. It will save you frustation. CCP this url for the font into your find box: BettyNoir. Here's a 400 x 400 transparent gif for those who do not know how to make an xc. Transparent Gif Go to Image Magic and enter the url for the gif in the text box. Click the view button. Next, at the top of the page, click the ANNOTATE tab. Paste the url for your font in the box provided ( below IM's font box). Use the following as a guideline for your name: Gravity is CENTER. +0+0 Fill Color = #a7b7ca Stroke Color = #3e5a96, size = 1 Point Size= 70 to 90 SCALE = 2.0,2.0 NOTE - As always, Point Size & Scale DEPENDS on the length of your name. Adjust as needed to look good and accept most of the flower. You want the name to be at least as long as the flower and almost as tall. Refer to the one at the top of the page for a visual. And look at the flowers below to get an idea of how long they are. Scale is important in getting the height and width of the name. Just play with the numbers in increments of .2 or .3 until it's right. Once you have your name to your liking, output and save as a GIF (Not a jpg) Flowers - Large for longer names, small for shorter names. Flower - 350 x 166 Small Flower - 308 x 144 CCP one of the flowers into your find box, and then CCP your name-blank url. Back to IM. Enter name url and click view. Go to COMPOSITE. Enter url for the flower. Gravity is CENTER +0+0 Ckick on dropbox and choose OVERLAY Click composite, the go to transform and trim. Output as a gif, until you decide what color bg you want to use it on, then you can convert it to a jpg. Here's one on white: Floral A real short name Once you have the basics down, you can use a variety of images to "fill" your name.
