Obituary
*Charles A. Parmley, 82 years of age, from Maysville,
Arkansas, passed away Thursday, April 21st, 2011.
Charlie had a heart attack on the way home from a
meeting. He carried the Big Books message all
the way to the end of his life. True love
and service.
Charlie P. was a friend of Bill W. for 41 years.

*Joseph D. McQuany a african american from Little Rock,
Ak., the original Joe of these Big Book Step CD's,
passed away on Thursday, October 25,
2007, at 78 years of age.
In early sobriety Joe, with only $300 dollars in his
pocket, founded the 'Serenity House' before
it had a house, in Little Rock.
Serenity House later became 'Serenity Park', an ex-
tended care sanctuary for all, black or white,
penniless or professional. He never tired,
not even during his last, four year
struggle with Parkinson's.
He never stopped dreaming. His last great dream was a
treatment center for women and it was completed
and Joe was there to admire the finished work.
It was another of his dreams achieved. Joe was often
heard to say, "if I hadn't been an alcoholic, I
probably would have amounted
to nothing."
Joe McQ. was a friend of Bill W. for 43 years.

Obituary
*Joe McCoy, age 75, passed away on November, 23, 2014.
Joe was born in Sallisaw, Okla. and moved to Tulsa
in 1943. He worked as a printing salesman and
later purchased Banknote Printing and re-
tired in 2001.
Joe teamed up with Charlie P. in the early 90's and
traveled all over the US, Canada and Europe
carrying the message of the Big Book of
Alcoholics Anonymous, touching the
lives of many alcoholics.
Joe McC. was a friend of Bill W. for many, many, 24 hrs.
