Visit The Wilson House
The Birthplace Of Bill Wilson
378 Village Street, East Dorset, Vt
The Wilson House has been lovingly
restored and is being maintained
as a living memorial to Bill W.,
as a place of sanctuary where people
can come to give thanks to God
for their new lives.
Local groups hold several A.A. and Al-Anon
meetings in the House each week. There
are 14 guest rooms available for
overnight guests.

The Historic Home Of Bill and Lois Wilson

Visit Dr. Bob and Annie Smiths Home
855 Ardmore Avenue, Akron, Ohio
The Birthplace Of A.A.
Where It All Began ... June 10th, 1935
Dr. Bob's Home is open every day except
Christmas from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. You can
come by yourself or come in a group. There
will always be someone here to welcome you.
Many once- hopeless alcoholics, Dr. Bob among
them, made their first shaky steps toward recovery
in this place. Walking through these rooms, we may
reflect on those days in the 1930's and 1940's when
the Smiths and their visitors spoke of spiritual
matters, and reflected in gratitude, on how
dramatically their lives had changed
because of them.
