My Fafurite Things
as sung by Mewlie Catdrews
Little grey mousies and soft fuzzy pillows,
Breezes that ruffle the branches of willows,
Feathers all colorful flying on strings,
These are a few of my fafurite things.
Doors that stay open and windows all sunny,
Birds in the yard and a little brown bunny,
Butterflies fluttering bright yellow wings,
These are a few of my fafurite things.
Turkey and dressing and gravy with crunchies,
Treats in the kitchen when I've got the munchies,
Cans of sardines popping open with rings,
These are a few of my fafurite things.
When the dog barks, when the rain pours,
When the days get cold,
I simply remember my fafurite things
And then I don't feel so old.
Catnip for rolling in, sniffing and laying,
Friends all around me for mewing and playing,
Green grass and flowers, the scent of it clings,
These are a few of my fafurite things.
Cozy dark corners for hiding and napping,
One special meowmie for loving and lapping,
Sunbeams on carpet, the memories it brings,
These are a few of my fafurite things.
Soft little balls to bat under the table,
Grooming my fur till it's softer than sable,
Starry black nights and a cricket that sings,
These are a few of my fafurite things.
When the dog barks, when the rain pours,
When the days get cold,
I simply remember my fafurite things
And then I don't feel so old.
