Testimony of Jennifer
My name is Jennifer (Jenn) and I am from Alabama. God has done two great miracles in my family.
When I was nineteen, I was severly injured in a car accident. The driver of the other car drifted over in my lane and hit me head on. I recieved mutliple injuries both internal and orthopeadic.
The most life threating injury I received was a torn aorta. Ninety five percent of these injuries die at the scene and the other five percent die on the operating table. My spleen was ruptured. My lungs collapsed, and they had to do some bowel repair. I had a broken nose, jaw, one finger, right hip, both legs, both ankles, left foot, right foot was crushed and left pelvis was cracked.
The doctors told my family to call in our clergyman I would die and even if I came off the operating table I would be paralized and my kidneys and other organs would shut down because the test they had to preform was very dangerous.
A few months after the accident they wanted to take my foot off, they said it should have came off in the initial wreck. They said they had wanted to try to save it because I was so young. The bone was dying in it. I said no to the surgery. My doctor said," Ok, Jennifer, but you will be back over here begging me to take off your foot because you will never walk on it." I got upset and my mother told me to remember that the doctors do not have the last say and we prayed. I went back six weeks later and he told his students to never believe x-rays because the bone was rejuvenating. To this day I still have my foot. Praise the Lord.
Now I am 28 years old and I am able to walk with the use of a cane. (short distances) I have to use a wheel chair for long distances or if I have to stand alot.
Then last June my dad was diagnosed with stage four throat cancer. The worst stage you can have. The doctors said he would die also.
He took treatment of radiation and chemo but his body could not tolerate both of them at the same time. The doctors said that the type cancer he had was aggressive and you must have both treatments at once to kill it.
Right now he is cancer free. Please pray for him that he will stay cancer free. Sorry that I have written you a short novel but I wanted to share with you what God has done for us.
