Hi, I'm Lourie,
I was born in Youngsville, PA. We moved to Los Angeles California when I was 9 years old. I was almost 15 years old when Sonya was born, and I was basically her mother until I married at the age of 17. I have 4 children, Brenda, Danny, Julie and Kassie, 4 grandsons, 6 granddaughters and 2 great-grandsons.
I enjoy sewing and crocheting, but I haven't been doing a lot of that lately due to arthritis in my hands and wrists. I love flowers and used to have a beautiful rose garden. In the past couple of years I have had 2 surgeries on my neck for arthritis and other problems with the vertebrae.
I am currently undergoing treatment for cancer, and am awaiting test results to determine further treatment.
