Here's to all the unsung heroes
Who do their best each day
To make the world a better place,
each in their own way.
Here's to teachers and the preachers
who teach us how to live,
And to all the volunteers
who find some time to give.

Here's to firemen and policemen
who work both night and day
To serve us and protect us
across the U.S.A.
Here's to those who wash our dishes,
those who keep our country clean,
To the workers in blue collars
who are there but never seen.

Here's to all the men and women
who always pay their dues,
But they never share the spotlight
or make the evening news.
To the farmers and the housewives
who earn more than their pay...
Here's to all the unsung heroes
who are out there every day.
