My Feelings
Our days on earth are numbered
We are only here for a short time
I don't know how you'll spend yours
I am going to make the best of mine.
I will have fun with all of my friends
Just laughing and joking with ya all
Because I may not wake up tomorrow
Today I am going to have myself a ball.
I will write my words down in rhyme
And share them with all of my friends
And if one of you chose not to get them
Then please tell me and I will not send.
I promise not to get offended friends
If you choose not to receive my mail
I will not shout and stomp my feet
Or shed enough tears to fill up a pail.
This talent God chose to give to me
I will never put it to any evil waste
And I hope that each line and word
Will bring a smile to at least ones face.
