While walking down the sands of life,
with God,
My perfect friend,
I asked him just one favor
hoping it, He'd gladly lend
"Now Lord, I know you're might busy
and my needs you always see;
but maybe if you get delayed
you'll send another friend to me."
Why ...quicker then my eye's could wink
He'd granted that and more,
He made my life a pleasure
on this His earthly shore.
He send me friends...so many
I couldn't fit them on a page,
but one is named Joe Wallace
whose friendship I can guage.
He gives his all to one main friend
to the Savior, his precious Lord;
then you fill his cup of friendship
for its contents he won't hoard.
You fill it up with goodness,
you include love for all.
Thank God You sent Joe Wallace
a friend who stands right tall.
