HAPPY NEW YEAR FRIEND 2001

I admire you a lot, I like all the traits that you have got. If I could trade me in for you, I think that's what I'd like to do,

But I understand this can't be done, That God has made us each as one, That He had individual plans, When He designed the human man.

He could not make us all alike, Just as the days aren't like the nights, And, just as in each garden plot, Each bloom is different, is it not?

No flower's better than the rest, And not a one's considered best, God made each bloom to supplement And all the blooms to complement.

So, though I am me, and you are you, It's hard to separate us two, For your great traits, which I respect, Have had on me a big effect.

Else I could not write these words, Which some may think are quite absurd, But, this is my way to thank you much, I've been so enriched just by your touch.

Part of my heart, my soul, my me, Part of those parts, indeed, is thee.

  Thank you, My Friend!
