No Tears?
No tears in heaven it is said,
but God has a bottle there
where He collects our tears that fall
and keeps them in His care.
Tears that cleansed my soul's deep shame
when I clearly saw my sin.
Tears that flowed for other souls,
pleading for their entrance in.
Tears of sadness that I've shed
for my children as they grew;
Tears of loss and disappointment
are in His bottle, too.
The tears preserved through all the years
will be transformed when we meet
into sparkling drops of joy,
and I'll pour them at His feet . . .
Then with the tears of all the saints,
will form a river vast,
flowing from the throne of God;
there will be no tears at last.
Psalm 56:8...put thou my tears into thy bottle...
