Sometimes I get so very angry
And I say words I should not use
I know they hurt ones feelings
And it probably is verbal abuse.
The words I say are not vulgar
But I know they hurt the same
I wish I was patient and calm
Like the Lord's pure holy name.
I just do not like to see others
Treat people as if they are dogs
Like the verse in the Bible says
I need to remove first, my own log.
I know that I am only human
But more patience is what I need
I wonder how can I do that friend
How can I plant in my heart a seed?
So friends would you pray for me
That somewhere down deep within
I will find the patience and calmness
So I might let my anger grow thin.

Please keep my son, Allen, in your prayers. Please pray for protection from all harm and that he continues to do the work of the Lord, in guiding others to Our Loving Savior. Allen has asked that I put this quote on my webpages for him.
