Song of a Good Samaritan
I cannot sail across the seas
To work with people there ~
But, still, I know it’s up to me
To give and gladly share.
I may not follow jungle paths
Or teach in distant lands ~
But, still, there are some people here
Who need my loving hands.
I’ll never chant by calm lagoons
Beneath a full-moon sky ~
But, still, I shall fulfill my goal
If I, before I die.
Forget to walk horizon’s edge
In seeking destiny
And help the person I can see
Who is in front of me.
