New Year's Prayer
God this is a New Year (2007), this is a New Day. I am so thankful You allowed me to live to see it. Thank You Jesus. God I pray in Jesus' name, "This New Year will be the best year ever and each year following be better than this. Let the favor, peace, strength, and joy of God rest upon me each and everyday of this New Year. May I grow in the knowledge of God daily. May I prosper, be in excellent health, as my soul prospers in You.
Let this be a year of thanksgiving unto You. Teach me how to count my blessings. And teach me to be thankful for each blessing that comes my way no matter the size. May I be thankful for all things; good or bad. Because I know as Your child, who really loves You; all things will work together for my good no matter what it looks like. It is all good.
This New Year and every year to follow may I acknowledge You first in all that I do and allow you to direct my footsteps. May the Words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable unto You. Let every word that I speak, be spoken with Love (especially in my home). Let me walk in love and forgiveness toward all those You bring across my path. In short, "Let me live my life pleasing unto You in all that I say and do." Don’t let me speak evil or judge anyone. Let me always remember, “Where you brought me from.” This year, may You find me praying for my brothers and sisters who have lost their way and is not waling in obedience to Your Word.
Give me a teachable spirit. I don’t have all the answers. And I will not pretend that I do. I want to be successful in all that You have called me to. Bless me with wisdom and knowledge from on high. Bless me to hear You Lord Jesus even when You whisper. Bless me to hear You even in the mist of confusion. Bless me with financial success. Give me wisdom how to use what You have blessed me with. Let me find myself sitting at Your feet; getting instructions from You on how to live my life as a successful Christian. May I find myself meditating upon Your Word day and night; doing all that You have written, so that my way may be prosperous and I will have good success (in my home, on my job, in my church, and community). May Your Word dwell within me richly.
Make me take excellent care of myself for the glory of God. I was created for Your Glory and Pleasure. Teach me how and make me rest in You. Night comes when no man can work. Teach me how to pray; teach me how to trust You and not stress out. Let people see me and call me blessed. Because I am the blessed of the Lord in all that I do for You. And everything that I do…let me do as unto You Lord Jesus in this New Year from the first day of January until the last day in December. Lord Jesus please do the same for all my family, friends, the one who wrote this prayer and the one who loved me enough to send me this prayer to me. God I ask this in Your precious Son's name Jesus Christ. Amen, So Be It, And It Is So.
