Prayer for Faith



Before I ask, kind Father
Thou knowest of my need;
My courage faileth in the dark,
Stretch forth Thy hand to lead
My stumbling feet o’er rugged paths;
I cannot find the way
Without the help Thou hast to give
My spirit day by day.

Almighty GOD, grant me to see
The working of Thy will;
May I resign myself to Thee
Retain my peace until
I trust the way Thine hand hast moved
In these affairs of mine.
Renew my faith, that I may see
Thy purposes, divine.
