Praise the LORD

In these songs GOD’s love is told.
Search the Scriptures if you’re doubtful
Of the depths of GOD’s great love,
Proof you’ll find in fullest measure,
GOD-inspired from above.
Give your heart to mediation
On the way you spend your days,
Then strive to make you life a poem
Fit for GOD’s approving gaze.
Life with always have a purpose
If our model is our GOD
For man who’s made to GOD’s bright image
Could never rest beneath the sod.
“Come to Me,” O, hear GOD calling,
“If your cross is hard to bear,
Give Me your love, accept My friendship,
And gladly then your cross I’ll share.”
