GOD's Rope
When doubts and fears assail me
And in darkness I must grope,
GOD sees I need Him dearly
And stretches down a dangling rope.
It stretches clear into heaven,
To it’s strength there is no end,
It pulls me far above the darkness
From the despair where I have been.
It wraps my wounded, bleeding heart
And fills my soul with hope,
Life’s battles can never conquer
Those held securely by GOD’s rope.
