Faith



I have learned a lot
In my golden years;
How to deal with pain,
suffering and tears.

I know that faith
Is the light of my life,
It sustains me through periods
Of sorrow and strife.

Faith is what moves
My mountains of dispair,
It helps me to cope
When life seems unfair.

It lifts me up high
When I'm sinking low,
It carries me through life
Until good times flow.

Faith is what tends
To all of my needs,
It's the spiritual food
On which my soul feeds.
