GOD's Eternal Love



My first thought in the morning
Is to thank GOD for the day,
And for the many blessings
He will send along my way.

If the faith that rests within me
Remains steadfast, firm and strong,
Then I know that peace and joy
Will be mine the whole day long.

Petty troubles will not vex me
Cause me anger or distress,
For GOD's loving presence guides me
To a gentle peacefulness.

Nor will I fear the future
Or what's in store for me,
For GOD's love will be forever
Through all eternity.
