Contemplation
We all delight in the quiet times,
in the peace and solitude.
When alone we sit and meditate
in a spiritual interlude.
We think of all the different ways,
we have spent our life, to date.
Then pray GOD gives us insight
our goals to evaluate.
Without these precious moments
to take stock of all we've done.
Aimlessly we'd drift along ~
and battles couldn't be won.
So when we're overwhelmed with life,
while searching for our soul.
Contemplation will serve us well ~
for it makes our spirit whole.
